Criteria for Weeding Learning Resources

The following material will be removed from the collection:

A. Material that contains incorrect information no longer supported by reputable scientific and academic organizations

B. Material that is damaged beyond cost-effective repair

C. Material being replaced by newer editions, editions in better condition, or a higher quality equivalent

D. Out-dated materials, especially scientific materials that fail to reflect recent developments in technology and research and historical works that do not reflect current cultural and political realities

E.  Materials that are irrelevant to the Cypress Hills curriculum as well as staff and student interests
